Spagyrics Rosehip Spagyric Tincture

Rosehip Spagyric Tincture

from $39.95

Spagyric tinctures are prepared through an alchemical process that honours the full anatomy of the plant: the spirit, soul, and body. The volatile oils (soul), water & alcohol-soluble components (spirit), and purified mineral salts (body) are individually separated, refined, and then intentionally reunited. The result is a living preparation, not merely an extract, that carries the full life-force and signature intelligence of the plant in an exceptionally bioavailable form.

All of our herbal extracts use organically grown and/or ethically wildcrafted herbs and certified organic food-grade ethanol diluted to specific potencies in filtered and/or distilled rainwater, unless otherwise specified.

Rosehip (Rosa canina), the fruit of wild rose and member to the Rosaceae family, has long been valued both traditionally and in modern herbal medicine as a potent source of nourishment. Traditionally, rosehips are gathered after the first frost and used to strengthen the body through the colder months, prized for their ability to rebuild vitality after illness, support immunity, and gently tonify digestion. In modern herbal practice, rosehips are recognised as one of the richest plant sources of vitamin C, alongside significant antioxidant compounds like flavonoids and carotenoids.

Rosehips possess a sour, slightly sweet and astringent taste profile, with cooling and drying energetics that help clear excess heat while gently toning and strengthening tissues. Through these actions, rosehip can be particularly useful in addressing inflammatory conditions, fortifying the immune system, supporting connective tissue health, and nourishing depleted or convalescent states.

Especially beneficial for individuals recovering from chronic illness, adrenal exhaustion, or states of depletion, rosehip acts as both a restorative tonic and a gentle detoxifier, helping to clear metabolic waste while replenishing core vitality. Its mild astringency also makes it helpful in digestive complaints where tissue tone is weakened, such as loose bowels or leaky gut presentations.
